  Thank you for your interest in Igor Pro and for taking the time to download the Igor Pro demo.
  We hope that this demo version helps you to evaluate Igor Pro and to answer your questions
  about the software. If you need any further help, do not hesitate to contact WaveMetrics.

  The demo version of Igor Pro is limited in several important ways:
    -	Files cannot be saved.
    -	Experiments cannot be saved.
    -	The clipboard contents cannot be transferred to other programs.
    -	The printing output is lightly over-printed with Igor-related words and is slower as a result.


IGOR PRO 5.04A DEMO SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
  Igor Pro 5 requires Mac OS 9.1 or later with CarbonLib 1.6 or later.

  If you want to run Igor on an earlier operating system, you must run Igor Pro 4 or earlier.

  If you want to run Igor on a 68000 CPU, you must run Igor Pro 3.16 or earlier.

  Igor Pro 5 runs in "native mode" on Mac OS X.

  The Windows version of Igor Pro 5 requires Windows 98/ME/2000/XP.
  (It does not run on Windows 95 or Windows NT.)

BEFORE RUNNING THE INSTALLER
  If you have an existing Igor Pro Folder on the disk you'll be installing to,
  either remove or rename the folder to avoid mixing old and new Igor files.
 
RUNNING THE INSTALLER
  The installer can be run under Mac OS 9 or Mac OS X.
 
  On Mac OS 9, we recommend running the installer with the "base"
  set of extensions. Open your Extensions Manager control panel and
  select "Mac OS Base"  from the popup menu and then click the "Restart"
  button to restart your computer.

  Double-click the Igor Pro 5 Demo Installer to install Igor and supporting files
  to your hard drive.  You will need about 120 MB on your hard drive to install
  Igor Pro.

ONLINE MANUAL
  The demo version of Igor Pro ships with a full online manual set as PDF
  (Adobe Portable Document Format) files in the Manual folder.

  To use the online manual you will need Adobe Reader 5 or later
  (or Acrobat Exchange).
